We not only support advisors with our expertise in specialised tax law issues or in disputes with the tax authorities, but also assist them in the event of a dispute with the client.

We examine allegations of liability and clarify for advisors or the insurance company whether a liability case exists and to what extent this could materialise.

1. Defence against damages in tax proceedings

On behalf of the consultant or the insurance company, we argue with the tax authorities in order to minimise the damage.

2. Defence against damages in recourse proceedings

At the same time, we represent consultants threatened with liability in extrajudicial and judicial proceedings before the civil courts for the purpose of defence against alleged tax consultant claims. We have been working together with market-leading liability insurers for many years.

3. Prevention

In addition, we advise on questions of liability prevention (choice of legal form, structuring of tax consultancy agreements, liability limitation agreements).

We also offer preventive advice to avoid any liability risks in advance. In this way, we create legal certainty for consultants for their future actions. Here we use our expertise and many years of experience from ‘both worlds’, i.e. from tax law and civil liability law.
