My path to Streck Mack Schwedhelm

"What makes up the work of a tax lawyer?" - That's what I wanted to know: I had studied tax law at university and worked for two tax consultancy firms that focused on tax assessment. What I lacked was a genuine lawyer's perspective on tax law.

During my legal clerkship at Streck Mack Schwedhelm, I learned what a lawyer's perspective is all about: tax law in all its breadth, in every procedural situation and in contact with many life situations; in addition, a skillful approach to disputes, agreements and structuring; finally, colleagues who are passionate about their work who are happy to share their experience and whom I enjoy seeing again every working day. It was clear to me: this is where I want to become a tax lawyer.
