My path to Streck Mack Schwedhelm
After spending my first years as a lawyer working in civil, insolvency and tax law in a large German law firm in Munich, I was tempted to return to a more tax-focused practice after passing my tax advisor exam.
Through numerous publications and the Zehnt Academy, SMS had already regularly attracted my attention in this regard since I had been studying for my specialisation in tax law.
Since I had previously worked with Mr Peters during my legal clerkship at the public prosecutor's office, the contact was quickly established. Right from my first personal meeting at the firm, a great deal of common ground emerged, so that nothing prevented a quick change and a return to my old adopted home in the Rhineland.
