My path to Streck Mack Schwedhelm

Started as a research assistant in November 2017. Having previously worked at a major international law firm in the area of M&A/corporate, I was particularly interested in working in tax law, partly due to my tax focus during my studies. In particular, I wanted to get to know the work of a forensic tax lawyer in practice, but at the same time also work in an academic and tax structuring capacity. Streck Mack Schwedhelm was therefore quickly chosen.

In addition to working on my dissertation, I remained a research assistant for four years and immediately followed this up with my ten-month legal traineeship. Even before I started my legal clerkship in 2021, my mentor, Dr. Alvermann, offered me an employment contract as a lawyer for 2023, which I accepted without hesitation. Since I am convinced of the triad of tax litigation, tax structuring and criminal tax law as a consulting philosophy, I am attracted to working as a tax lawyer - especially in the NPO sector - and I greatly appreciate Streck Mack Schwedhelm's professional expertise, the decision was made for me immediately. For me personally, the whole thing is rounded off by a real sense of collegiality. What more could you want?
